The Host was very attentive to our needs and suggested the most amazing Nature Reserve to view spring flowers. Goegap Nature Reserve is a must when in the area in spring.
Great host! Beautiful farm. The farm house is very spacious with 4 beadrooms and 3 bathrooms. We had a wonderful stay with beautiful views. The sunset and sunrise was fantastic.
Beautiful location, we made a beautiful walk on the farm, with lot's of quiver tree's and hills to climb. Flowers everywhere (in the season) The chalet was rustic and charmfull. Verencia was very helpfull. We loved the stay and recommend goning there for something 'different from the the usual'
Supper was a hearty meal provided in the farm house restaurant. Lovely. The large ensuite room was spotless with everything one needed for a relaxing night. Complimentary Tea and coffee in the room. The staff and management were so friendly and helpful.
A group of 8 of us stayed in this remarkable, quirky old farm house before hiking the Fish River Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed the old world charm and appreciated the minor details that helped us to feel most at home. Don't let the lack of electricity put you off - the kerosene lamps and LED lighting are just enough! Loved all the photos and trinkets in the home, so much to look through. Also, beautiful views and a lovely farm setting!
Everything, the authentic farm setting, lovely location, amazing food and a very personal service and hospitality! Accommodation in the old farm house was great, we only stayed one night, could easily have stayed longer. Kids enjoyed the farm yard, something we wanted them to see. Big thanks to Lizelle and Dawie!
