The location of the accommodation is fantastic with a view of a small valley where zebras, knus and antelopes live. The restaurant where you can do wine tasting is 100 m away and the entire winery is closed with a gate in the evening. Helet always tried to make sure we were well and that all of our wishes were fulfilled. The area is a dream for mountain biking. I'll definitely be back next year. Located on a wonderful farm property,on the left as you approach the town. I felt like I was somewhere in the countryside of France. It's rustic and charming and unpretentious. We stayed in the main common area upstairs in a loft room, which was cozy with a fireplace. The bed slept well with a luxurious open bath tub and lovely large patio area, which looked out onto huge trees and different mountains views. The staff felt like family and made us feel so welcome. It was a wonderful short stay, and we would definitely consider it again.
The theme of a French village fit perfectly within the beautiful village of Franchhoek.delightful views of the surrounding countryside with its vinyards and whitewashed farm buildings. The accommodations are generous is size and the 4 of us felt quite at home.

Beautiful historic farmhouse in the most charming part of the valley. You feel the love and care that goes in every detail. We loved the first floor big suite under the thatched roof with the cool breeze. Wonderful breakfast.

The farmhouse turned guesthouse is really lovely for a couple of day's stay. Beautiful view into the vinyards and a lovely pool area to relax by. The guesthouse is just 10 mins drive to Franschhoek town and all the neighbouring wine estates. Communication was super easy, also via WhatsApp, with recommendations for activities, dinners and wine tastings.
Rustic and comfortable, beautiful views and lovely decor. The wood fire was so cosy in the evening. Jonathan the Farm Cottages Manager was a delight! He looked after us so well and was full of great advice. He helped us with transport and he made our stay even more wonderful. Thank you Jonathan :)
The location is stunning - the farmhouse is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides and the walk up to the restaurant / tasting rooms was beautiful. The service is personal as there are so few rooms and all staff are approachable and friendly, willing to help with any problem.
