For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
I especially enjoyed exploring the farm and nearby roads (very quiet). Beautiful views in a farm setting. The cottage is spacious and well kitted out for self catering.
We enjoyed the farm setting and it's related activities. The peace and quiet and long sunsets over picturesque fields ended our days perfectly. The farm dogs were welcome company and guides.
We had a lovely overnight stay at Imla Guest farm. We were upgraded for free and enjoyed a lovely big bedroom. The cook whipped us up an amazing dinner and breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.
It was a little off the beaten track and we had to go through some quite deep "puddles" to get to the farm - which wasn't so good for our small Audi A1

Off the beaten track, quaint and quiet farm stay. Beautiful vista. Attention to detail in making the rooms comfortable! Loved the coloured beads on the taps indicating hot and cold.
