For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Resort is located in the heart of the mountain...all chalets have majestic views...built around the entertainment area...
It's a fun filled family resort and the resort retain it's rustic architecture..

What a wonderful lodge! For a place so remote, it's absolutely well kept. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Penwarn Farm Lodge is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The views and surroundings were breathtaking. Babsi was the best host we've ever met, gave us all the info we needed to do as much activities around the farm and surrounding areas.

We absolutely loved our stay. The Farm itself is just world-class. The views and surroundings are perfect for a quiet soul renewing getaway after a stressful week. It is beautifully maintained, spotless, and very well equipped with all one could possibly require and more for a getaway. (I was suitably impressed as they even had muffin baking trays Yay! ) We shall most definitely be back again soon and be spreading the word about this new getaway gem we have discovered.
Nice old farm house with lots of space. Would be an awesome option for friends or families looking for a base to operate from to Drakensberg and surrounds.
