Absolutely beautiful farm and gardens. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will truly recommend this guest house to anybody who needs a safe and very modern place to stay on their travels through the Kalahari and Northen Cape.
Location is lovely, bed comfortable, the hostess was friendly and warm, in all it would have been a lovely 'farm stay' ... the problem is that it charges mid-range lodge rates, and the experience is not lodge quality.
The hospitality, facilities and breakfast were all outstanding and this guest farm can be recommended 100% to anybody looking for accommodation in the Augrabies area.
Ria & Jaco were two phenomenal hosts! The property boasts a beautiful and extremely spacious open-plan modern farmhouse (can easily host 8 people). Our accommodation was spotless. Anything we needed was arranged with ease and we truly felt at home. Would suggest Avonsrus to anyone looking at exploring Augrabies National Park (or as a stop over to your second destination) and looking for a place where you can feel at home. *5 STAR*
The Falls Guest House is perfectly located for trips to the Augrabies Falls and surrounding areas. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was tasty and great value for money. The Farmhouse and gardens are beautiful.
