For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Our host Tuan was absolutely brilliant and made our stay at Boutique Lodge memorable. The salt water pool is lovely to be able to cool off as it was very hot and humid when we were there. The dinner cooked by Tuan's family was a feast both nights with so many delicious dishes and it was rounded off by a good session of karaoke both nights lead by Tuan and his daughter. We definitely enjoyed the trips organised by Tuan to go to the floating market and then the land market, also the cocoa farm and then a sunset tour of the nearby waterways.
Good location in a quiet alley but only a short walk to restaurants/shops and the riverfront. Very friendly hosts who took us on a tour of the floating markets and cocoa farm, price of the tour was very fair. Air conditioning in the room worked well. Nice rooftop space where you could eat at night and look out over the city.
Very nice, clean and cozy homestay.Great trips organized to the floating market, the cocoa farm and the sunset cruise. Amazing food, bought fresh directly from the market and very friendly family.
The Farmstay is clean in a good location with all necessities arranged to make it comfortable. The owner Human was the highlight of our stay. The meals were absolutely delicious and synthetic. The tours were different from everything else we have ever seen and Human was the expert on everything.
The rooms are great comfortable and we had toothpaste , mosquito spray all provided free of charge.
Thank you Human for making our stay such a memorable experience. We felt sad leaving such an amazing Human 😀
The host Human was no less than fantastic. We felt extremely welcome from the moment we stepped into Farmstay. Human was very helpful all the way through, and we can highly recommend his trip to floating market and local market. Very interesting indeed.
During the 2 days we spent at Farmstay we managed to feel like family - that tells very much about the kindness and hospitality Human showed us.
Our best recommendations.
We are extremely thankful to Human and his mom for this amazing farmstay experience. The hospitality they treated us with was exceptional. Great variety of vietnameses homemade dishes for every dinner. The place is vast, full of trees, plantations and vietnamese fruits that you'll definitely get to try. We had the floating market tour with Human and we were extremely happy. The farm is in a lovely village away from the noise of the city. Highly recommended for a very authentic Mekong delta experience.
Quiet and serene, rustic feel to it and warm friendly staff. The boat tour offered was brilliant as Anh took us and we were fortunate that it was not too busy so we got a more intimate view of the floating markets, rice noodle factory, cacao farm and food markets - the trip down the smaller rivers off the main Mekong were gorgeous. Strongly advise if hoping for a relaxed time.
From the minute we stepped into the Farmstay we were greeted by Human who was an exceptional host throughout. Human served us immediately, with a very welcomed iced passion fruit drink. Rooms were comfortable, good sized , all amenities provided including an in room fridge, and all beds were protected with mosquito nets. The evening meals provided by Human and cooked by his mother was some of the best food we have tasted in Vietnam. He also provided a private boat tour of the floating market, bending over backwards in every aspect.
Farmer Homestay is the right place if you want to taste rural life in the Mekongdelta. Phoenix and Bosa do everything for their guests and you feel like you are part of the family. Phoenix is an excellent cook, and her husband Bosa an excellent guide and musician. We learnt a lot during the 3 days we stayed with Phoenix and Bosna. Thank you !!!
The host, Human, and yes his name is Human went out of his way to make our stay exceptional. His mother prepared the most amazing food. Human took my wife and I on boat ride to explore the floating market and a land market. We sampled local delights at both markets. The farmstay is 100% eco friendly and totally unique in the area. For a totally unique and authentic visit to the Mekong Delta, this place gets our vote every time.
