For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
This is peace in The form of a farm. Just a little piece of perfection on earth. The owners are amazing and the facilities are beautiful, and full of kindness and hospitality at its best.
Trudy and Gregg were great hosts. Making sure everything was perfect. Love walking around the farm seeing the different animals. Sweetpea the Parrott was awesome as he came to me when I called his name and just started talking away.. Feeding the horses was also a delight. At our site it was nice watching the different birds as well as a visit by a couple jennies and a roaster.
For someone who has always been wanting to stay in a tiny house, who has always loved horses, and is charmed by chickens and roosters since our many stays in Key West, Kokomo Farms was the perfect find for a night on the road!!
Very rural and quiet. Beautiful grounds and friendly farm animals.
