For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
One they didn’t have our reservation, two the room smelled and the AC thermostat didn’t work not sure if the AC was really working either, three the beds were uncomfortable and lastly the staff were never available unless you called them. We had to call for staff to check in and we had to call the staff to check out. I get it it’s a little roadside motel off the interstate in a very rural area but I travel almost weekly for work and this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I stayed at it for personal travel not for work travel.
