For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Its an actual farm so we loved:
- Horses! Feeding them and watching them run in the field was amazing
- Mr Handsome bar is cool and rustic
- Kat who runs Mr Handsome is great
The accommodation was very original with bamboo structures and tents on the structures! Despite the tent accommodation the bamboo structures gave a sense of privacy. The farm was also in a very peaceful location with lots of chickens :) The owners were also very kind!
Small, friendly guesthouse. Despite the rustic, cabin-like exterior, the rooms were modern, carefully designed and comfortable. Wi-Fi, hot water worked well. Toast and coffee was a thoughtful breakfast touch.
Great staff. Ake on reception was so helpful-organised taxi for sunrise day trip to Phu Lanka. Always friendly and wanting to help with anything.
Very professional and really wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. Great location overlooking lake- we upgraded to lake view but pool view good. all the staff very friendly and kept everything clean room, pool terraces. Rustic feel as not modern but great rooms beds and air con.
Lakehouse is a beautiful traditional rustic Thai home. which gives a warm family feel.
