For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
We had a family bungalow, and despite being a bit rustic, we had everything we needed in our room. Except maybe a little fridge to store our baby’s food and yogurts, but the owners were so nice they let us used their when needed. Their food is simply amazing (and not expensive at all!) and the swimming pool was perfect. We will surely come back here next time in Chiang Rai!
This hotel is a little far from the central area but it’s easy to take Grab there. You are very close to Blue Temple -easy 25 minute walk. The black museum is close as well by car or Grab. And if you need a change from Thai food check out Farmery- close to hotel by car. Serves healthy fresh salads and meals. Went there twice.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. The owners were very nice and cooked us a different breakfast every morning. There is free parking.
Rustic and authentic homestay. We stayed 4 nights in the double room with AC. The room has everything you need, it's not too big, but big enough to fit all our stuff. It gets really warm during the day, but the AC helps. The owner is very nice. It's about a 15 min walk from the center, but we rented a scooter so it was much faster.
This is the one and only place you want to stay if you’re visiting Chiang Rai: meticulously clean, inexpensive, buffet breakfast, strong aircon and wifi in the room and of course the usual lovely Thai hospitality that you can never get tired of. We also appreciated the rural neighbourhood that gave a us a taste of how the countryside life in CR looks like. Don’t hesitate, 100% recommended 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Location was just perfect. The owner lady was lovely, and she offered me papaya from her farm when I was around. They offer free water, bread, coffee, tea, etc.
The common area is lovely and very chilling.
Wifi worked great.
