For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
The rickety construction of the shed they called a bedroom, it was particularly spectacular looking at the stars through all the cracks and holes in the timber barn construction. It was wonderful to experience what Jesus must have felt as he entered this world in a similar setting
The bungalows are located in the middle of fruit trees. This is a working farm that has been in the family for generations, it is just lovely to see the pride of the current owner who explained to us all the different trees. Breakfast was freshly prepared, the home made organic jam made from their fruit. The place was a haven of peace.
We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. Hiring a moped via the farm stay enabled us to visit the hot springs, the caves and some of the amazing temples. The owners are fantastic and showed us around the farm. We could also explore the huge farm and the farm dogs would accompany us!
The landlady, Pepsi was really nice and accommodating. We arrived 3hours later than our initial scheduled time (way past the check-in time) and she accommodated us by staying up to wait.
Rustic bamboo huts that took us back in time.
The hot water was absolutely fantastic!
Breakfast was excellent! They try to get their food and fruits from their farm
So peaceful and quiet. A real working farm where some of your breakfast is from paddock to plate. There is a good restaurant within a couple of Kim’s for other meals. Close to the hot springs, cave and temple. Lovely views and serenity. We should have spent an extra night. Hosts are such friendly warm people.
Simple farm stay in a comfortable cottage. The farm has a beautiful ground with many trees and well taken care gardens. Fire pit for the cold night.
There is no internet connection or refrigerator in the room. The hosts are friendly and very helpful.
Nice breakfast.
This peaceful farm stay experience was the perfect antidote after hectic city travel. Falling asleep in a cozy A-frame bungalow in a fruit orchard after taking a dip in the community hot springs down the road was so relaxing.
The breakfast was delicious and filling - even kept us fueled for a day of rock climbing.
The owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and kind.
We only wish we had discovered it sooner and spent the entire week here, instead of just the 2 nights. 10/10 experience - we will definitely come again!
The location has a spectacular view of the majestic Doi Chiang Dao. It's a rustic place to stay but well worth it for the location and viewing the sunset from the deck
Rustic bungalow with large bed, mosquito net, fan, western toilet, shower, sink, and fridge. Breakfast and bottled water provided. Very friendly couple running farmstay. Shortcut around back to youth camp. Convenience store nearby. Bring earplugs or wake to the roosters.
Away from others tourist in a beautiful village.
Lovely family run farmstay with incredible views
