I really enjoyed the location. Matkov Kot was very scenic and peaceful. It made for a very relaxing holiday.
The hospitality was superb. The breakfasts and dinners were very tasty and filling, and the host offered to pack leftovers to take on my day hikes. And my room was very comfortable and clean.
I extended my stay at Perk on this trip, and if I ever come back to Slovenia, I plan on staying here again.

I recommend panoramic road "Solčavska panoramska cesta" - it is partially macadam, but broad enough for two vehicles to meet, and the views and farms on the way are definitely worth it.

Hosts are very kind and helpful. I recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy beautiful landscape and relax in the beautiful nature. The children enjoyed feeding the sheep.
There is also little lake full of fish and a friendly dog that guards the entire property. it was so nice that we already want to go back.

It was awesome. Franjo and his wife were so courteous and so friendly and made us feel at home.The farm had everything that's needed to enjoy as a family with a little kid. We enjoyed it thoroughly and would love to come back again.

We were staying in a spacious, tidy, well-equipped apartment. The Tourist Farm Kolar itself is in a beautiful valley, just outside of the small town center of Ljubno. It really is a farm: there's an eco-garden full of herbs and vegetables (and you can indeed take whatever you want) and various animals. The hosts are very hospitable and they kindly offered us eggs, locally made zelodec and their self-made schnapps which was great. Everyone speaks English, not only at the farm but wherever we went, so it's really easy to get around.
