Despite the property being a bit out of the Camino de Santiago path, the experience well worth it. Everything was good.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely villa and vineyard. And it was a nice break from a hard day on The Camino De Santiago. The owner, Mr. Campos is a lovely person, and he met us personally upon arrival. He gave us a quick tour of the grounds, and we could see that he is very proud of it. He gave us a bottle of the wine that is produced by his family from his vineyard, and it was a very tasty wine. The home is from the 17th century, so not very modern- but we were comfortable. It kind of felt like we had gone back in time, but in a good way. In the morning there was a lovely breakfast with local meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, pastries, freshly cooked eggs along with wonderful tea, coffee, and fresh juice. The grounds are very beautiful. After breakfast, Mr. Campus gave us a ride into Barcelos. There was a flower festival going on and he wanted to show us personally. He was extremely accommodating and jovial. If we are ever back in the area, I would definetely stay here again.

The property was beautiful, such a picturesque location, with well maintained gardens and comfortable farmhouse style bedrooms. Plenty of spaces to eat inside and outside. With a large living space perfect for larger groups. Everything we needed was provided including linen and towels, coffee machine and sun beds. There are en-suites in almost all the bedrooms, which are each decorated wonderfully.
