We loved our stay at Casa do Vale! The owners were very welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The room was beautifully decorated, quirky with attention to detail, full of vintage vibes, and traditional Portuguese decor. At night, we had the stove burning for a little while, works beautifully, adding comfort and a rustic feel to the place. Casa do Vale is set in a quiet, beautiful area with ancient olive trees. At night, we were able to do some star gazing from outside our room... We couldn't believe how clear, shiny, and close stars and planets looked!!✨️
The breakfast was excellent, personalised, and plentiful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa do Vale, and we hope to visit again in the future.

The house was a mix of a portuguese traditional house with all modern comforts. The yard was lovely to sit in the sun and the owners leave you with all the things you could ever need and some thoughtful extras!

For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
We rented two properties, one was like traveling through a time tunnel and seeing how a rural family once lived in a house . made of wood and stone. The properties are very old with old furniture. interesting experience. The price is of course very cheap which is a big advantage for those who are interested in saving
The host, couple Rui and Céo, are good-hearted and friendly. They shared me many things about their farm and garden. They take care of their farm in every corner. They are always available for any support. I feel safe and enjoy my journey I love their breakfast. The tent is comfortable and warm at night. It will be a good choice for a trip to relax and chill.
A self catered "villa". The small village of Pedreira location is superb, quiet with magnificent views. Well equipped kitchen and outside the covered courtyard dining room. Whole place well presented and clean. Adequate on-road parking outside. This a typical classic rural Portuguese small two bedroomed house. Highly recommended.

This place was so much fun! If you like "glamping" then this is perfect for you. I stayed in a two room tent behind the owner's farmhouse. The tent was clean and the bed was very cozy. It was raining outside, but inside was dry and there was a light and plug to charge my phone. Nice change of pace from the usual hotels and B&Bs. The owners were extremely gracious and friendly. I recommend paying extra for the home cooked breakfast--it was absolutely delicious. I would stay again!
The apartments are in the former stables of a monumental farmhouse. Very spacious sitting/diningroom with kitchenette. Original decoration with big fireplace. Very good swimming pool. Free parking at your front door.
Tomar is an incredible historical place to visit. Central Family Palace is the matching hotel. Built as a farm house in the 18th century it is located steps away from the train and bus stations and boasts great views of the castle. It’s a charming house with many original touches.
