Beautiful location in the hills of Castelo de Paiva. Great with a dog. Very nice and welcoming owners. The brand-new apartments with balcony or terrace are simply amazing. The breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again when we are in the Douro area. Approx. 45 min to Porto.

We had a perfect stay at Maria’s place. The farmhouse, the suite and the property are even more beautiful in person! Maria is the sweetest host. She immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. She gives great reccomendations for activities in the area. The breakfast was awesome. To conclude, it is a little paradise in the Douro Valley and we would recommend it to everyone!

Everything about this farmhouse was beautiful, it felt so special, Maria and her mother are so warming, and we felt so well looked after the entire time. Wow! This property was amazing and in the middle of nowhere! We arrived into the most serene beautiful warm and stunning farmhouse ever! Maria the host was the sweetest host we had on our Portugal trip. We had coffee on arrival and Maria made us very welcome. The room was comfortable and big. Parking was a breeze and the walk around the grounds of the farmhouse just stunning. Breakfast was superb - delicious freshly baked scones and eggs how we liked. I didn’t want to leave.

A Padaria was one of the highlights of a Portugal honeymoon thus far. The beauty of nature will leave you breathless and Maria’s energy will leave you calm for days. The room and farmhouse as a whole is clean, stylish, and filled with a positive energy. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The farmhouse has many charming corners to sit and enjoy both inside and outside, balcony is magic.
