Where to start! This was a phenomenal stay. We LOVED the tranquility, the setting, the grounds, the food, the hospitality, the conversation, the ESSENCE of what Cerro da Campanico is meant to be. We booked this place when we needed somewhere to stay on a whim after seeing such great reviews and it honestly did not let us down one bit. We are so so happy we stayed here. The rooms are comfortable, bathroom is great, pool is fantastic, and most of all, the attentive and joy of the hosts was exceptional. We adored getting along with them, and the quality and standard of the food they serve - all homemade was exquisite. We can't wait to return.
Offering an outdoor pool, Casas de Miróbriga is located in Santiago do Cacém. Free WiFi access is available only in common areas.

From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful welcome from Anna and Tess. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. We were shown around the property and told about recommendations for resteraunts and things to do in the area. We were given coffee and some delicious rice pudding made by Tess. This place is so relaxing and it is so convenient to visit the local beaches. We had breakfast both mornings, which was excellent, and we had dinner one night, which again was delicious. We would highly recommend this place and we will definitely return.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Nice place, bit of a rustic design. Very lovely lady welcoming at reception and for breakfast. I also enjoyed the little garden area to sit outside for a bit after along walk.
We loved the rural location. The privacy that provided but still being within 10 minutes of the town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The house is located in a nice and quiet rural area relatively close to beaches and other nice places to visit. WIFI was particularly good. The outside area next to the house is pleasant with lots of natural charm. The fig tree next to the house was well kept and provided life saving shade for an outside lunch (mind the wasps). Our host was super friendly and helpful even though she wasn't the owner.
This is a special place. Although the room was not big or spectacular, we slept comfortably and woke up early to walk around the farm and glimpse at the animals that live there. Breakfast was the highlight, with delicious food grown in the farm and a nice chat with the owner.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped
Excellent breakfast
Optional dinner is of high quality and taste (worth the €40 pp)
Location is remote but good accessibility and relatively close to the beaches
Farm itself has many types of animals and produce
Most wonderful hospitality, comfort, style and delicious food. Fantastic setting: quiet, rural and relaxed, with all the facilities we could need. We felt very at home and were very well looked after with our young baby. We will 100% recommend to everyone we know. Thank you!
We had the best stay! Everything was perfect. Rafael (the host) and his family are super nice, warm and welcoming.
The place is well designed and you can truly feel the love that was put in creating it.
Rafael is an excellent cook :) we are vegan and he put a lot of effort making out meals fit us.
Such a peaceful place with lots of farm animals running around and ruthes to hike (they also offer free bicycle you can take)
The pool was lovely with really nice view.
We are so happy and thankful for our stay and will for sure come back again.
This property is kinda magical. The glamping accommodation is very comfortable, self-contained, with great wooden decks with views. The natural pools are stunning, the lagoon complete with weeds, frogs and paddle boards is just a lovely place to hang out, the area with the pizza restaurant with its 2 pools is also great especially at sunset the perfect place for a sundowner. This is a wonderful place to relax, especially if you like rural nature but with all modern comforts.
