Beautiful property and location. And the staff and breakfast were wonderful. The view from the reception area and dining was absolutely gorgeous. It was a quiet sleepy town in the Duoro Valley but close to wineries.

Beautiful location and fabulous views! Large property, nice size rooms, very nice washrooms, clean and good amenities. Beautiful pool area. Breakfast was delicious. Our hostess Sofia greeted us with a port wine tasting, she was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Just wow! The Douro Valley was more than we could’ve imagined and the Quinta de Fiães was exceptional. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and well appointed. We enjoyed local food for breakfast and dinner during our entire stay. The hosts are such gracious people. We met the whole family and had enjoyable conversations. We were able to stroll the vineyards and it was very close to the river for a nice afternoon walk. We came without a car but took a taxi to town and rented one. I would highly suggest driving around the Valley. There’s nothing as spectacular.
For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
We loved the exquisitely decorated guest house with a stunning view in the most beautiful rural location. Maria was very friendly and accommodating and prepared the most delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the.pool and vineyards. The breakfast was also outstanding and we loved everything about our stay!

Great place - we had a lovely studio room with bathroom, kitchen and a balcony. The property is in a lovely village and is Rustic and charming.
Try not to drive past the sign to there door as the road past it is very skinny.
Jet and Ronald are lovely hosts, the breakfast on the balcony is superb - and the dinners are fabulous getting to know your hosts, fellow guests and the fabulous wines of Portugal.
A lovely room in a quiet rural location. We stayed in one of the superior rooms as they were the only options available and it was very big and reasonably priced. The room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable. We arrived quite late but we’re still offered soup and toasted sandwiches by the host. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
A huge thank you to the staff of Quinta Manhas Douro for a memorable stay. Claudia gave great suggestions for a wine tour and Elizabeth was most kind in responding to an emergency. The location in a rural village is perfect for chilling and their on site food is generous in portion and taste. Overall highly recommended!
