This place is a gem hidden in a beautiful and tranquil location. Everything was perfect. Since there was no one else staying those days we got to use common areas such as kitchen, dining and fire place all to ourselves. Host Vera was amazing, she took really good care of us and gave us tips on what to see and experience in the area, she is such a lovely human we enjoyed our conversations with her very much. On arrival it was tricky to find location at first but Vera came to meet me at an intersection from where I got lost it was very nice gesture and communication was easy. We hope to be back again soon.

A rural idyll. Quinta de Anterronde was a welcome, quiet break amidst a hectic travelling schedule. Patricia didn't speak English but had a helpful information and communication sheet ready and waiting, and Google Translate and hand gestures did the rest. We had an efficient check in, and were given everything we needed to know. We were in the separate annex in the garden, with shared kitchen and lounge facilities. The room was thoughtfully decorated and the beds comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The external areas of this Quinta are beautiful and most enjoyable to wander around. Breakfast was extensive with excellent choices.
