For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!

Delightful rural location with a beautiful view of Monsanto.
An amazing breakfast with shak shuka, cheese, meat, vegetables, pancakes, homemade preserves, and really good coffee.
The hosts took us in last minute after we left another unsuitable property.
They were both so friendly and welcoming you really felt like you were staying with friends.
Would highly recommend.

Be prepared to be pampered by extremely hospitable hosts in their rustic heritage property! We love the location and there are lots to do. We were spoilt by the hosts and had a most relaxing stay. Muito obrigado!!
We had the whole house at our disposal. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable. We had homemade cakes and fresh fruit from the owners' farm in the fridge. We learned many interesting facts about the history of the town and the surrounding area from the owners. The owner recommended us to visit the extremely interesting town of Idanha-a-Velha.
Thank you very much!
Spectacular location near a working farm. We hung out with the farm animals and watched the trimming of cork trees. Fantastic breakfast (fruit, cheese, eggs, ham of many types, bread, coffee, tea). Comfortable beds. AC! Just down the hill from Monsanto.
