Great location - just a few minutes drive to Tavira. Fantastic breakfast, beautiful pool, everything was very clean. Very peaceful. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
The rural location. Owners and staff friendly and approachable, nothing too much trouble for them. The scenic views from our balcony and from the communal areas. A relaxed and comfortable lovely place to stay and exceptionally clean. The owners family dogs were so well behaved it was a joy to see them. Antonio's omelettes have to be had for breakfast - yummy. We didn't want to leave but have to get back to the UK.
We were greeted by Isabel and once checked in, she kindly showed us around and to our room. Although it is very rural, the peace and tranquility are great although Estoi or Sao Bras de Alportel are only about 10 mins drive away. Our room was very comfortable with a good 'fridge and plenty of space with an ample sized balcony overlooking the pool. It was just a shame that the weather was not better otherwise we would have enjoyed having relaxing time around the pool area.
The location is lovely, up in the hills with fragrant smells from the vegetation. The campsite has great potential and a lovely rustic feel. I liked that there was a beach umbrella to borrow. Please note that this website only shows guests the positive reviews - and I had a lot of negative here. In summary: It is neglected and uncomfortable. Unisex bathrooms. No fridge. Not enough crockery.
Antonio and Maria were such kind, attentive, helpful hosts and Quinta do Mocho Turismo Rural genuinely felt like home! We love the dogs - Duke and Bart and staff were absolutely helpful. :-)
We loved, the calm and silence was exceptional. Even the owner really take care about loud noises.
The farm is well take care and the eco trends give a different experience proper to be enjoyed.
Everything was spotless clean and comfy.
P/s: just as a friendly suggestion, could add a small fan inside the teepee for those warm nights =)

Location was rural. I loved the view of the mountains from my room and from pool area. It was peaceful experience and I noticed all of wildlife eg. birds and butterflies.

Breakfast - good variety of everything from eggs to cheese to pastries and fruit.

Room & dining area very clean. Nice quiet property. Pool was sparkling clean & lots of lounge chairs. Breakfast was included & was delicious with lots of homemade goods from their farm
