Daniel was great! Very accommodating to me and my family traveling with two young children. The view from the farm was breathtaking. The breakfast service was very nice and was brought straight to our room. Parking onsite was also a big plus. Highly recommend this property for your next booking.

Breakfast was excellent. Katia, the Property Manager was fantastic! She could not have been more accommodating or helpful. She was one of the highlights of this stay! Although the drive up the mountain was a bit challenging from someone not from Portugal, it was well worth the drive. The view from our balcony with the sunrising over the mountains was spectacular. It was extremely quiet. Highly recommend staying here. The small village of Mesao Frio was also a total delight.

Laura, Gil and Andre were amazing hosts and made us feel at home. The location is spectacular and we were very pleased with our choice. Spending time with Gil and Laura to learn more about the history of their property and tasting the Casa Amarela wines and ports made this experience stand out. Hope to return!

View was absolutely amazing, Breakfast was wonderful, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed both pools and the spa. We also lived the garden and farm area. This was a really enjoyable experience.
The family running the house was amazing and very responsive. They were able to give us lots of information about the area which was very helpful. The breakfast was provided promptly and was very tasty with farm fresh eggs from their chickens. Great pool, fabulous view and very homey space. We would love to come back!

The unexpected delights were a spring next to house and endless supply of local farm eggs that were the best I have had.
Location, friendly welcome, homey environment, quietness Even with a railway crossing the farm - actually one of the charms. The railway station very close by allowed us to travel without the car, even for a just a dinner
The hotel is amazing
The views are breathtaking, you basically wake up and see Douro valley right from your bed.
They have Chefs restaurant in the hotel. Food there is very delicious, starters, main dishes and deserts. We tried a lot there and every dish was great.
Also hotel has its own farm with various herbs, fruits and vegetables, that are used then in the restaurant.
They also have very clean and relaxing SPA, which is free for hotel guests.
I wasn't expecting the proximity to the animals on the farm, and was very pleased with it! The staff was super helpful and very nice, and were always ready to meet our needs. They had a great variety of animals that we could fead. The food on the farm was very good, especially the jams!!
