For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Private and quiet location. Host was very approachable and friendly. He only speaks Polish and Russian, with very basic English. Lucky I know basic Russian and my wife knows intermediate Polish. The double storey house was very warm, immaculately clean, very comfortable and modern. Lovely rural location only 17km from central Suvalkai. Very pet friendly and our French Bulldog was able to roam freely in the very large fenced yard. Local ski field only 10km away.
