Great place, close to train station. Hotel had lots of bikers training for race on April 15th. Limburg has hills. Great bus ride via de Bemmeler road back to Maastrict. Lots of campings by farmers, home stay, tiny hotels in a rolling green countyside
Got plenty of towels and even new sheets on the 3rd night.
Stunning grounds. All on site farmed produce. We had an incredible dinner, the chef is so talented. The spa is wonderful, beautiful indoor pool and an excellent Sauna. We were so happy that we stayed a second night. Can’t recommend this place enough. Service also very good. Excellent breakfast wide and varied.
Our stay at St Gerlach was excellent. We visited during the week for a short getaway from Amsterdam (arrived by train and it was a 10 min walk from the station to the property.
The grounds, the food, the staff and especially staff were all exquisite.
From Nikki at breakfast to Maarten and Iyla at dinner, chef Otto and his beautiful farm which we got a tour of. We were treated like queens and given so much love that we promised to be back.
Not the Castle, but a lovely old barn conversion building. Beautiful surroundings. Ducks!
Comfortable rooms upstairs, plenty of living space downstairs. Kitchen facilities were good.
Fantastic location at the foot of the Schaloen castle, in the midst of beautiful rural scenery. Great location for walking and cycling. Lots of space to sit outside. Friendly staff. There is a restaurant available on site which can also serve breakfast if you want. Also comes with a beautiful garden right next to to castle at the water mill.
