For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Beautiful and quiet campsite very close to Etosha. Enjoyed the kudus and the fact that you could take a walk on the farm! Good meal and service at the restaurant. Will stay here again!
Best campsite we stayed in in Namibia.
Each site has its own barn style kitchen/bathroom - inside / outside. Very clean
Gorgeous set up.
Only a few minutes drive from etosha gate.
We liked the character & charm, it's a working farm. Proximity to etosha national park (10 min drive) half Board was worth it.food was worth it
Safari your organization easily completed at front desk
Rooms rustic but had everything you needed. Impeccably cleaned daily. Pool dated but adequate. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent but the accompaniments ie salad was the same everyday. Very good packed breakfast pack provided if you want an early start in the park which is only 5mins away.
The location is perfect. Just a few kilometers from the entrance of Etosha.
We did a farm drive with them on there own property.
The personal is very attentive and the diner is great.
When we were there we had springbok which was very good.
Breakfast is also very nice.
The house you stay in is good and well maintained.
Nice swimming pool.
We got a very warm welcome at Eldorado lodge. The staff is very friendly and really tries to give you the best stay possible. Definitely jump on the farm tour around the property to see some predators. Even though our stay itself was wonderful, the best thing about Eldorado is definitely the buffet style food!
Located 20 km from the park's gate, it's very convenient for day visit of Etosha. The place is quiet and has an interesting farm with animals to visit in the afternoon. The food was great, even that it was buffet, quality wise was a la carte. Enjoyed our stay and definitely we'll recommend it! The personnel was very helpful.
Food was good farm cooking. Really enjoyed it. It is a working farm, so enjoyed that vibe. Not the typical "lodge". I would defenitely stay there again.
