The natural setting of this home besides a lake and a farm. This family's hospitality is truly good. They care about the food they serve. Its very much felt like home. Kids enjoyed playing bunnies and the dogs. They look like stray dogs but they're taken care by homeowners. Water from tap is potable and we enjoyed the natural occurring water.
Beautiful setting with pools and decks, and wonderful hosts who went above and beyond- driving, organising safaris and ideas for seeing the area. We loved the local farm restaurant - some of best food we ate at great prices. Superb breakfasts and we were treated to home cooked meal - delicious!

The design of the room was very rustic and modern. It was a clean, beautiful and relaxing place. We enjoyed every corner of it, pool, restaurant, the room... The breakfast and the dinner was so delicious. The staff, Ranga and Sucheera was so helpful about everything and smiley. We really enjoyed all of it. Highly recommend this place! :)
The family we stayed at was very welcoming, friendly and took amazing care of us. They helped us with our laundry, tours, food, groceries and transportation. We arrived sick and in a bad state and they helped us back on our feet with love and big smiles. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this accommodation to others looking for an authentic rural experience from good hearted people.
Really big bed and bathroom, comfy bed, nice terrace. Very flexible (breakfast, always offered a ride, organized elephant safari, brought us to the sunrise climb to Pidurangala rock and a herb farm). Very helpful and always willing to give advice. Ask if you can book the elephant safari with some other guests.
This is the best homestay we’ve done. A lovely family who went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel safe and comfortable. They prepared us the best food we had in Sri Lanka: tasty curries, roti and more with all the ingredients coming fresh from their organic farm. Kumara gave us a brilliant tour of the farm, as well as all the best things to see in the area. He even took us to our next destination, and arranged pickup from the airport. It’s also right next to a nice lake. Definitely stay here!
The cottages were set in a rural area. Quiet, green, and relaxing. The hosts were lovely. The breakfast plentiful, fresh, and delicious (hari rosai). I've only rated them a 10 because they don't allow you to rate them 11! Beautiful stay.
Beautiful place with a rustic tree house. We had such a peaceful stay with the sounds of animals and the river next to us! Mall and Chaminda are lovely hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel at home and help organise any activities you want to do.
