For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Everyone so welcoming and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Not a just a usual hotel experience, you almost feel like you’re staying with friends. Big thumbs up to Mr Ley who even took a diversion during one of the days to show me his little farm, giving me an authentic glimpse into the Cambodian way of life - Priceless!
This was an amazing rural experience 20 minutes outside of Siem Reap town! We got live the life of Meta (the host) for a couple days, which was truly insightful into authentic Cambodian life. Meta was a great host, and took us to his rice farm to catch frogs, snake and crabs to feast on (for free!) He also took us the local silk and crocodile farm. The homestay is tucked away amongst rice fields and has a little shop next door for beer etc. Thank you Meta for a wonderful time! :)
Staff are very attentive. Private location was lovely and felt rural. Food could improve, though. Overall, a great little boutique resort in Siem reap for a good price.
Older, rustic teak style guest house, comfortable, great staff, so helpful good restaurant. Excellent value. Walking distance to everything down town, restaurants, banks, postal, river walks etc. Extended my stay!
An exceptional hotel in a very good location, making it easy to reach the temples. The hotel provides its own tuk-tuk service for this purpose.
The staff is always friendly and incredibly helpful. You can feel that the staff value a family atmosphere and include the guests in this.
The hotel's basic philosophy is to support the local community, such as schools or local farmers. This allows you to travel and support the local people at the same time.
When I visit Siem Reap again, I will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful environment in farm gardens but only few minutes to town centre. Lovely room, quiet property, very good food, fresh fruit in room, friendly staff
Such an amazing homestay and Meta and his family are the nicest hosts ever. The location is outside of Siem Reap but Puok is a lovely village and Meta will make sure to guide you around so you’ll have the best experience. He took me to the Crocodile farm and the silk farm and even helped me later on with transportation. The bungalows are simple but well equipped and it was lovely to sleep in the nature! Thank you Meta for everything! 😊
