For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
We got upgraded to an apt. in the barn as that was free during our stay which speaks volumes on how accomodating the staff was. Had a super nice stay and just a bunch of genuine and kind people working there. Big plus seeing a bunch of animals thriving at the farm
I went there on June 2023 which is in summer.
1. The owner, Liam, is a service-mind person. He is willing to share his knowledge of the farm. Although he is not a Japanese, he has lived there for many years.
2. This place is suitable for who love nature, animals, countryside.
(I don’t know the circumstance in Winter)
Liam, Miwa, Marly & Junior (pet beagle) were extremely hospitable & made us feel really comfortable during the stay. Staying in the barn & exploring the surroundings, accompanied by friendly animald made it really a very memorable & surreal experience for us, who are from the city. Miwa's cooking is really good too!
farmstay is run by owner himself. you can expect exceptional service from the owner and his staff
food is great.
suitable for young children that loves farm animal. you can get really close to the animal
The entire experience was incredible! The rooms, the animals, the people, the food, the location, everything! can’t recommend Hopi Hills Farm enough if you find yourself near Kiroro. We were there on a ski trip and it is super close and convenient to the resort! Snuggling baby goats, delicious food, and even better company…what else could you need?! We all already plan to come back some day!
