Lovely place. Peaceful compound with rooms situated around a green space with picnic tables and a bar. Not busy or noisy at all at night or at any time that we were there. Mostly hosts bikers on the Tarvisio Trieste route. The kids loved the horses.

It was my third stay in I Comelli and for sure not the last one. Great staff, very good food in the restaurant, very good breakfests and last but most least spacious room. That's all we needed for our stay.

It was a very nice experience to stay in a farm specialised in wine production. It's exactly what we wanted. The staff welcomed us with a glass of wine. Later she offered us wine tasting from their own vineyards and we bought two cases of their wine. Our kids loved the animals and want us to return there every year for our holidays. Being a bit cut off the internet (available only in some areas) was a good experience too, to slow down a bit.

Since this is a farming place we thought this would also be reflected in the breakfast and we would get som home-made cheese, ham or we would get ham and eggs. Unfortunately not. It would be nice to have one TV at least in the restaurant section to watch European Championships, Wimbledon, later Olympic games....
