The hosts were simply fantastic! The place is very comfortable with a fantastic view. It is a bit outside town, but a nice walk. Our hosts, however, gave us a ride back to the town for dinner. A place to go back again.

I loved learning about winemaking at Podere Orto itself but also about all the work in the region related to sustainable farming and healthy, traditional foods. Breakfast at Podere Orto under the grapevine outside was fabulous, as was the food in nearby osterias and restaurants.
