stayed at Agriturismo Punta San Lazzaro and was absolutely impressed. The location is simply incredible – surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views. It's the perfect place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet.
The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details that made it feel like home. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The hospitality was truly top-notch.
The food was especially memorable – fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared with great skill. Everything was delicious, and it was nice to know that many of the products are grown right on the farm.

AMAZING Views! We booked the room with the sea view and balcony and the views were just amazing. We stepped out on the balcony every time we entered the room. Overlooking the sea and Mt. Vesuvius. A M A Z I N G. You are located up above the hustle of the towns below in a quiet, tranquil setting with olive trees and breezes. Looking back through my pictures - I did not take any of the room - only the view from the room! The rooms are older, dated, but clean and large.
There is a restaurant on - all outside seating under a canopy of grape vines - seriously?! I've only seen this in pictures! Sunset pics while enjoying dinner - unbelievable...Pictures do not do it justice. Breakfast was inside and offered meats, yogurt, pastries as you would expect. We were the only people who spoke English, but the staff worked with us and a translator app and were amazingly helpful and nice.
You have to be willing to traverse the mountain roads to get these views - so be prepared. Getting through the towns below was an experience in itself - tight streets, chaotic roads and drivers, gps telling us to turn where we were sure it wasn't a road - it was! But - the views, quiet, tranquil location - Worth it!
Short drive to the Pompeii archeological site - 30 minutes. Beaches were a new experience for us too - black, volcanic beaches.

For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Lucia and her family gave us the best welcome to Campania! She was so generous with her time and local knowledge. They showed us their glorious family farm and we were lucky enough to taste many of the homegrown produce. The garden in the afternoon and during breakfast was an idyllic peaceful slice of Italian heaven. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Very interesting experience! The host Federica was very kind and brave young girl. She was ready to help us with anything we needed and told us the history of the lemon farm.
The garden in the morning was priceless…
A gem in Tramonti. I very much recommend eating at this agriturismo. The food was simply divine. The host and his wife were so polite and friendly that they made us feel at home the minute we stepped in. Highly recommended.
Really welcoming stay at Farfelle E Gabbiani, Antonio is super friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and clean room and amazing views of the mountains and valley from the bedroom. Simple but delicious breakfast. Up in the hills so a little out of the way but assuming that’s what you’re there for, it’s perfect. Amazing restaurants down the road including Azienda Agricola Casa Cavaliere and Agriturismo da Regina.
We loved our stay in Tramonti with our fantastic hostess Anna Maria in the absolute gorgeous green landscape!! Our bed was comfortable and we had a nice little bathroom with everything we needed. Even though she didn’t speak English, Anna Maria gave us some fantastic recommendations using google translate she prepared us a sweet breakfast with all the croissants and bread and yogurt and fresh fruit you can eat and a lovely coffee. We even had a chance to visit the Ranch to see a cowboy in action, it was wonderful!!
Tramonti is a very cool place to visit. Over a dozen little villages dotting the hillsides here and there make up this town, and all are surrounded by lemon trees growing on carved out precipices and mini valleys.
The house we stayed belonged to our hosts’ parents and felt like an old Italian farmhouse. A winding ten minutes by car - all downhill - Maiori beach (free) waits for you on the Amalfi coast!
