For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
We loved learning about the farm from the family. So fun to walk the garden and meet the animals. The dinners we booked were amazing and so were the included breakfasts. A truly special place.
Ugo and everyone at Tenuta Tedone Consolini were so warm and welcoming. We loved the peaceful setting, being always greeted by the beautiful Australian sheep dogs and being able to explore the farm. The food was absolutely incredible (we ate dinner twice during our stay, a set menu of seasonal produce including produce from the farm for 30 Euro pp, extremely good value). Rooms were big and comfortable, super well finished and extremely clean.
