The quality and choice and presentation of the breakfast was excellent.
The surrounding area and view was stunning and exceeded our expectations, so quiet and peaceful.
I would reccomend getting a car to get supplies and visit local sites and beaches.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Beautifully-designed rural hotel with charming hosts, nice pool, and fantastic breakfast. Food is brought in daily for the dinner menu which is simple and largely fish-based. They do check on allergies/dietary limitations in advance and can make accommodations for which I was grateful. Convenient for local sights like the Valley of the Temples.
Beautiful building and rooms in a pretty rural surrounding. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and the restaurant very cozy, with incredibly helpful staff and wonderful food!
The hotel is a collection of old rural buildings superbly re-purposed, comfortable, chic and in the middle of nowhere. It is family run with attention to detail and great friendliness towards it’s guests. Great rural views and the opportunity for endless self-directed walks through the scrubby landscape. The food is excellent and though in principle there is just one set menu the staff make every effort to adapt to provide alternatives. The pool is welcome after a hot day.
Difficult to find use hotel website, very rural. The guy deserves to succeed turning four 16th century walls into a four star quirky hotel. I say quirky, our wardrobe was a stone alcove with a piece of driftwood on which to hang our clothes, attached by rope to the ceiling, you get the idea. Lots of little crannies very tastefully done
Beautiful stylishly renovated farmhouse property. Each room is unique and all with bespoke furniture. Bathrooms are spacious too.
The most fabulous breakfasts including freshly home baked cakes each day. You must have dinner here too, local produce beautiful prepared and presented and tasted wonderful.
Family run by Mara, her husband and their team, all of whom could not have been more helpful.
