Everything from the staff to the food! We had just the most wonderful experience arriving in a thunderstorm and leaving in sunlight with the montain all around us. The kids loved the playground and the animals. 3 kids aged 6-10 walked with us for a very easy hike for one and half hour with no complaints as there was so much to see and experience! I had accidently somehow forgot one child in the booking (as u do🙈) but they were really nice about it!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brunnerhof in Staben/Stava. The combination of the charming, antique breakfast room, clean and comfortable accommodations, and the warm hospitality of our host, Katja, made it an unforgettable experience. Staben is a tiny but picturesque village with a spectacular location for outdoor enthusiasts. There are hundreds of hiking trails just above the village, an amazing cycling path along the Adige River, and the town of Meran is just a 20 minute drive, by car, away (the train station is only a 5-6 minute walk from the apartment). Despite its convenient location, the area remains peaceful and quiet.
Katja recommended some wonderful places to eat, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. A big highlight was the breakfast, which featured plenty of homemade, local products such as seasonal juices and jams—an added treat in a region known for its abundant orchards.

Our stay at the Kastnerhof farm in Meltina left us with only positive impressions! The apartments were not only cozy and clean but also well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the windows is simply breathtaking – the surrounding mountains and picturesque fields create an indescribable atmosphere of peace and seclusion.
We especially want to highlight the hospitality of the hosts. They were always ready to help and answer all our questions, making our stay as pleasant as possible. Every day, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast made from the farm's products – fresh eggs, milk, cheese, and homemade bread. The delicious peach and cherry jams added a special touch to our morning meals.
Kastnerhof farm is the perfect place for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature. We will definitely return here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy retreat in the Alps!
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Lovely farm in the green South Tyrol mountains. Helena and Konrad were very hospitable, and our 4 year old daughter had a great time playing with all the farm animals and especially Keshi the horse.
We also went on day hikes directly from the farm and came back with the bus.

The place is nice, well equipped, clean and cozy with breathtaking view. Getting to the place by car is quite easy. The area around the house is nice and well organized. There is a place for kids with trampoline and swing. We travelled with the kid and he was in love with cows and goats from the farm. The owners are amazing, such a great hosts! They were so kind and responsive, and treated us with delicious homemade strudel and mozzarella. We would love to stay at place again!
A wonderful place to get away from it all in the midst of nature. Beautiful scenery and pleasant hikes in the vicinity. Easy to get to the next villages and even Merano and Bolzano by bus. Very good and hearty breakfast, including fresh eggs from the farm's own chickens.
Excellent breakfast, fresh from the farm. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. I had a magnificent view. Priska was very helpful and we spoke daily.
If you want peace and calm high in the mountains, the Lochbauer is perfectly located. You are hosted by very kind people and can get breakfast with products from their own mountain farm. The location is ideal for beautiful mountain walks. You can literally hear the silence. From your room(bed!) you have a scenic view. Definitely recommended.
