This is a very special place, unlike your average Hotel in the village. La Selvaggia is at the upper end of Mandello in the middle of the beautiful nature away from everything - almost like a mountain hut. We were in Mandello for the Moto Guzzi Festival and we really enjoyed being able to get away from all of the people and the noise when going back to the hotel in the evening. The property is very well kept and there is a beautiful pool as well. You can see in everything that this is an owner run family business. It's just got this family touch. We only got to meet Vanessa and she was super nice.
While we liked the fact that this place is a bit remote, it might not be right for everyone. It's a 7-8 minute walk from the parking up to the hotel on a nature path. Nothing crazy and a lovely walk but if you are not so stable on your feet, it's not ideal. Vanessa will be happy to offer you and your luggage a lift between the parking and the hotel (quite an experience) but of course she can't do it every time you come/go.
Agriturismo Ferdy provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 32 km of Accademia Carrara and 32 km of Gewiss Stadium.

We enjoyed everything: the view, the cozy room, the sweet ponies, the beautiful grounds, the kind staff and the atmosphere.
And the food.... wow! At first, we thought we would have only the first night dinner but after the first night, we realized there was no way we wouldn't eat there the second night as well.

Absolutely superb. The setting is just stunning and the view is breathtaking one of the best I have ever seen.The staff are so attentive and cannot do enough for you. The food was amazing both breakfast and dinner were top notch ( we ate at the restaurant 3 times in a week it was so good).

Very nice and comfortable “agriturismo” a few K over Morbegno on the road to the Passo San Marco. The view over the surrounding mountains is astonishing.
The room was spacious and sunny provided with air conditioning.
WiFi works pretty well.
The restaurant is top level offering a large choice of exquisite local cuisine.
Last but absolutely not least: the staff are absolutely lovely and kind. So helpful in any request and need.
