This is a charming agriturismo near Cortona. The hosts were delightful and took great care to make our stay memorable. The meals were perfect and the dinner was exceptional. We took day trips every day and were happy to come back "home" each night. I would highly recommend this place for a visit in central Italy.

We loved our stay at Monastero San Silvestro and would have happily stayed longer! The apartment was comfortable, the garden was perfect for hanging out with a view over Cortona. The staff was super helpful and responsive and the personal recommendations we got were amazing (exactly the type and amount we needed!). You do need a car to get around, but that was not a problem for us.

This beautiful property is surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields. If you're looking for terraces of wine grapes you'll need to go elsewhere. The hosts are attentive and work hard. Dimitri is also the chef and produces remarkable dinners. We spent two nights and had dinner on the lawn both evenings.The overall grounds are attractive and the swimming pool is especially nice.

Alessandro and Rita were the kindest hosts imaginable! When we arrived by train, Alessandro met us by car and drove us to this lovely farmhouse apartment. Rita had baked a galette to welcome us which was delicious. The apartment was spacious and beautifully appointed, It was just as represented on the website, only better. The grounds were beautifully kept up and the view was amazing. We absolutely LOVED this place! Cortona is absolutely charming. This was my husband's first visit to Italy, and he can't wait to return.
