We loved staying at the farm! My 14-year old daughter said she could have stayed for the remainder of the week instead of going to Rome:) Our host Marina was wonderful, my daughters arose early every morning to feed the animals with Marina. If we are in these parts of the country again, we will definitely be giving Marina a visit. The breakfast was tasty with organic eggs. And the rooms were more spacious than expected. Marina also provided great recommendations of the surrounding area. We visited Canale of Monterano which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were also able to practice our Italian.

The beauty of this area was a gift. The sunsets, flowers and castle across the lake was definitely enjoyed by our family of four! While we could not walk to the lake - as it is far away - you can see its beauty in the distance. The location is perfect for a quiet space to escape the noise and business of nearby Rome. The owners were so kind and gracious and even provided us with fresh olive oil, coffee and sugar and a wealth of information regarding transit and nearby activities. They communicated within minutes. We had exceptional wifi and cell service the entire stay and the house was spotless. The serene views, spaciousness of the cottage and the beautiful people who run this establishment made it 10/10. We ate at a delicious restaurant, which is near the Vigna de Valle train station, twice! The food at @TrattoriaLeonedal1937 was the best we had on our trip and the owners were exceptional, kind and lovely! The train is 1/2 a mile away which takes you into Rome and the nearby town of Bracciano. Visit Bracciano's cobblestone streets and towering castle - it is quite charming! All in all, Agriturismo Fontelupo was a wonderful experience and we hope to visit this beautiful area again one day!

Great! Host very nice, meets and greats us in person. Very clean place, spacious, well equipped (kitchen, baby crib). On farm lands therfore fresh air. Bettter to have a car to visit places around.
This is a brilliant place to stay! Close to Rome, nearby Etruscan sites, close to the beach - lots of things to visit and see. The room is spacious, just as the bathroom. The pool area was great and a wonderful place to relax. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of things. The restaurant at the agriturismo was very good. All staff was kind and nice. I would like to come back for a longer stay.
It's a lovely place to stay if you want the peace and quiet. It is a little bit off the beaten track. Family run hotel, converted farm. The staff were so nice even though they did not understand English that well. So helpful, food was lovely, and they had a lovely pool.
Excellent hosts, clearly focused on making our stay as good as can be. Breakfast was perhaps the greatest highlight, buffet abundant with home made italian food sorts, both sweet and salty, along with wonderful fruits. Any special wishes were eagerly fulfilled. With a group of 5 people, all of which had different preferences for eating, it was astounding how every person got their appetites well satisfied to begin the day. Great place to stay in this rural area north of Rome ;-))))
