Third time at Monteborre and just as happy with our stay as the first time. Lovely setting, clean and nice rooms, very friendly and helpful personnel (a special mention for Tatiana who is the perfect breakfast host; good humored, smiling, preparing great omelettes, and always ready to offer you another coffee), and then the very relaxing swimming pool. Stefano is a very friendly and entertaining host who runs his business impeccably. And... he makes some excellent wine too!

The mobile home was very spacious with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Also a kitchen and sitting room. The bed were very comfortable, the showers very good and the level of cleanliness outstanding. It looked as if we were the first occupants.

We spend one night here as a road stop to Milan airport. The place is in the countryside, but not difficult to find if you just follow the instructions of the hotel. The rooms are nice clean and quiet at night. The food here is definitely a highlight! The dinner at the hotel restaurant is really good!! The food was fresh and delicious, and we see a lot of elegant old people also dine here, looks like they frequent here a lot, which is a good indicator for a nice restaurant. The breakfast was also surprisingly good! The hotel offers self-made products that are super fresh and delicious.
Agriturismo Fondo Gesù is 5 minutes’ drive from Sala Bolognese town centre. This working farm offers air-conditioned accommodation, a traditional restaurant and a garden.

Such a beautiful location in the countryside - a farm stay, but only 4.3km from a large supermarket. And it had a pool !! And the staff were wonderfully friendly (even when we were in the pool after hours because we’d missed the closing time sign !).
The location was a 10 minute walk from the bus station and downtown Cento, yet located in a quiet neighborhood bordering on farmland. There were 3 groceries and a cafe around the corner. I liked having a full kitchen.
The hostess Angela could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She speaks some English, and checked frequently to see if I needed anything.
Monteborre was beyond what we could have imagined. Beautiful space that mixes the character of historic space with the best of modern amenities. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in Europe- homemade cakes and breads, eggs, cured meats, fruit from the farm. Alessandro’s hospitality was exceptional. From helping us to find parking at our destinations to bringing out spritzes by the pool on a Friday evening… this was truly a memorable experience. What a gem!
