It is a gorgeous property and the room was lovely. Breakfast was a welcome treat of chocolate cake, carrot (?) cake and other cakes and pastries. Mattea makes a lovely morning coffee!! It was a good jumping off point to explore the small towns in the area. In terms of services available to guests, it the basics in off season.

The owner upgraded us to a nicer room (with a jacuzzi tub!) simply because it was unbooked for that night. The town has a couple restaurants a short walk away, and provides good access to the hiking and adventuring areas of Sirente-Velino National Park.
