We loved Villa Coluccia! Mari Angela was just a wonderful host. Her breakfasts were great. She (and her mother) are excellent bakers! She and her sister Mari Grazia were always very helpful. The gardens and citrus trees were beautiful.
And the location was perfect for our drives to Otranto, Lecce, Gallipoli and other nearby sites. Martano itself was nicer than we expected.

Staff was excellent, very helpful and great communication. The grounds are fantastic, we enjoyed wantering around. We stayed in the executive suite, which was in an old towerlike converted silo with its own private spa in the basement.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were excellent. We stayed in the off-season so it was heavenly quiet!

We stayed at Tenuta Sofia for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay immensely. Highlights included the dinner at the Tenuta. The sea is only 5 min away – there's literally a dozen of beautiful beaches to choose from, and Lorena and Francesca will recommend you the best beach for the day based on the current weather and wind direction (!). Highly recommended also for families with kids!

It was beautiful and in a tranquil location. We had a suite, which is the nicest room that we have ever stayed in. It was stunning. We loved cycling around the periphery of the fig farm too. The property has bikes that you can use.

So relaxing! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds were comfy and the whole complex feels like a renovated farm mansion - it’s gorgeous! The pool are is honestly sublime. We could have stayed there for weeks! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly too - always offering us coffees when we needed a pick me up!
