Wow! An incredible and magical spot, I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay here. Beautiful building and grounds, jaw-dropping views of the surrounding mountains. We watched herds of cows in the valley below and were enchanted by the sound of their distant clanging bells. Paola was very welcoming, telling us about the history of the property (a former school at one point!) and serving us a delicious, traditional Sicilian dinner including homegrown veggies. (And Sicilian pumpkin, in season!) We sat by the fire, we took advantage of the immense spa (including hot tub and sauna) and relished the scenery. We hope to return someday!

The setting is absolutely stunning, and the different terraces and seating areas just beg you to relax and enjoy some downtime. Our room was pleasant, with a spacious bathroom. Guest next door was playing the TV quite loudly, which was a drawback. Breakfast was fresh, ample and delicious. Unfortunately we stayed over on a Sunday night, when dinner is not available. Our loss.

This place is like a dream and feels like a private secluded resort. The abbey is originally from 1100, expanded over the years, and now beautifully restored. The views are amazing, as well as the food and the wine, which is all from their own vineyard. Super friendly staff that you get to know quickly.
I’ve seen some reviews about bad access road, but there are two access roads. The road coming in from Cefalù direction is not bad at all. Only some drainage channels you need to slow down for. And it’s through their own vineyards and olive groves, so super pretty. The access road coming in from Castelbuono is much worse though. If coming from there, I’d recommend continuing on the SS286 a bit and taking the other road.

For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Beautiful agriturismo located in the hills near Cefalu. Property is impeccable with a wide variety of fruit trees and other vegetation. Host is very accommodating and promotes locally produced fresh produce.
A beautiful restored farmhouse which had beautiful views and was very clean and well set up but also felt very authentic. The food was excellent, Maria the owner was very knowledgable about Sicilian food and culture and is an excellent cook. She assisted us organising a taxi when there was a train strike and made us feel very welcome.
I would recommed to anyone traveling through the area to stay at this agriturismo to experience a taste of traditional Sicilian life. The owners where very friendly and helpful throughout our stay; the ambiance is perfect with the surrounding countryside making you forget the busy city.
Cherry on the cake was the dinner, which was cooked by the owners, which featured a number of traditional local dishes.
Terre di Himera is an absolute hidden Gem!! we took a bit of a detour to stay here and it was definitely worth it!! Maria and Frabrizio were wonderful hosts, they took such good care of us and their food was wonderful!

We loved our 1 night stay at this family run Agritourisme. The food was wonderful (meats and 3 salads for dinner with local wine and tiramisu) and a beautiful breakfast spread of local cheese, meat, baked goods, fruits, honey and Sicilian specialities. The host and hostess could not have been more kind and their hospitality made a beautiful, quiet place in the hills even more restful and enjoyable - thank you 🙏🏻
Wonderful and perfectly renovated farm house, a hide-away jewel in the middle of Sicily, good access to Cefalù and Palermo, and hiking in the Madonie National Park.
We stayed 4 nights and never missed the exquisite cucina casalinga, each dinner was a surprise.
The lovely hosts Maria & Fabrizio made us feel at home and we appreciated their passion for local products and wine.
The evenings on the terrace and the sunsets will be unforgettable. We will come back!
