Good lord, this place is a gem. Probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I never write reviews but this place was exceptional. I lucked into it when my flight was canceled and I had to rearrange our vacation to fly out of Bologna instead of Verona. It’s beautiful, quiet and clean with a great breakfast. The town of Budrio was pleasant too.
Set in the Emilia-Romagna countryside, Agriturismo La Dondina is just otuside the town of Budrio. This interesting property was a noble residence in the 1200s and then became a farm in the 1700s.

This was a wonderful stay in a historically interesting home that was renovated with great taste and discernment. Our host Carmen was very helpful in advising us on ferry tickets. Room was huge with great view. Breakfast was very nice and Carmen inquired as to what we would prefer. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay in a the charming beautiful house of Elisabetta and the family. Amazing hosts, super warm and friendly.
They produce their own juices and wines and vinegars.
Rooms are adorable and breakfast was very delicious with lots of home made goods.
We can’t wait to come back next vacation!

Beautiful location where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the countryside and beautiful views. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They showed us around the hotel and provided us with great suggestions on where to eat close by. The pool was fantastic. Even on a very hot Summer’s day, the temperature of the water stayed cool - it just would’ve been better if the pool hours were longer (only 10am to 7pm) especially in Summer when it’s hot and it stays light until late in the evening. Wifi was good. Breakfast included was okay. You do have to pay extra if you want additional items cooked for you (e.g. like an omelette). Parking is free, onsite and under cover if organised with the hotel prior.
For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
The beautiful old house has been very tastefully restored and equally tastefully furnished. It is located in a very quiet, rural setting. The owner is a very pleasant and attentive hostess. Anyone travelling with a dog will feel particularly at home, as the house is set in a large, fully fenced garden and the surrounding area is perfect to take beautiful and peaceful walks.

This is a beautiful bed & breakfast in a farm area. The building is very modern and spacious, and the rooms are all large and comfortable. The Italian breakfast was large and delicious. There is also a small gym and bocce available to the guests. Each room has a covered terrace with seating. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with information about Bologna. It is in rural farm area and totally quiet.

A wonderful farm, located near Budrio - historical center from XII century, worth a walk around.
If only, we can recommended Flabeto for the breakfast buffet - all fresh and abundant. The owner is very hospitable.
