The villa was set in the grounds of the Sella & Mosca winery. According to the staff the winery was established in 1899 and was a little village in itself - our villa was a converted house for the vineyard workers and the restaurant was converted from a school. There was a little church next to our villa. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, and the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. It was very clean.. A buffet breakfast was served daily and we ate in the restaurant in the evenings. The 5 and 7 course tasting menus were popular with guests but we opted to eat an entree and main course with a bottle of wine. The wines were excellent and available for purchase in the wine shop. There was an opportunity to go on a wine tour. There was plenty of free parking in the vineyard. The staff were charming and very helpful.

We had a delayed flight and needed a place to sleep near the Alghero airport. The staff was very helpful, they left us the instructions for self check in after midnight and the next day they offered to drive my husbund back to the airoport to pick a rent a car.

The property was clean and the owner was very pleasant. There was a slight language barrier, but we communicated just fine. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed though – even picking us up at the airport when we had to return our rental car.

Had a great breakfast made for us every day thanks to Gianfranco. Our host was great and gave us several recommendations for places to visit, dine at and activities to do locally. We recommend his suggestion of a trip to the local agriturismo for an authentic Sardinian dinner.
It is a great setting looking over a rural valley but the star of the stay was the old couple that run the place. They were super welcoming it was like meeting the Italian grand parents I did not know I had.
Breakfast - food made out of locally sourced seasonal ingredients and most important - with love!
Hosts - Alfonso was so helpful with all the tips where to go eat, what to see - thanks to him I've discovered some hidden gems in Alghero.
Location - for a farmstay, the location is very close to a bigger town Alghero, so very convenient

The host Emanuele was amazing providing information and tips. His wife kept the place very clean and comfortable. The room was fabulous facing a quiet lane. Modern facilities with rustic charm. The breakfast food in the fridge and on the table was also much appreciated and included in the price.

This is a beautiful place, in a rural area near Alghero. We didn't use the bikes, because parking the car in Alghero was very easy and free. Our room had a lovely balcony, from where we did some nice birdwatching. And the hosts are so kind, they want to help you with everything you need. We could use a parasol for the beach and we could bring the leftovers rom breakfast with us, great cookies!
Beautiful farm house so close to Alghero and Capo Caccia. Fillipo was an attentive, charming host and presented a delicious breakfast. The pool and garden offering a calm place to relax.
Really nice and relaxed cottage located in a rural setting amidst Olive trees and only a short drive into Alghero. The cottage was quite rustic which added to the charm of the place. Michelle was a great host offering great advice on the area and always on hand to answer queries and offer assistance.We very much enjoyed our stay.
The elderly couple running the place gave us some good suggestions about where to park our car in the city. It is a farmhouse with garden all around the property. Free parking inside the property was available.
