The absolute top of our stay was Emanuele, the owner. He greeted us in person, gave us a walk through his vineyards as well as hazelnut grove, he gave us wine tasting (all the above were extra service we asked for). He was always smiling and going above any beyond for his customers and the property, working 7am to 9pm every day. Love his enthusiasm and the engagement of his staff. His tips for the nearby locations and willingness to help in any situation are nothing but inspiring. Breakfast was wonderful, most of it home made, very rare to find anywhere in the world. The honest bar is an excellent idea. Pool area and the back yard with a view of wine country are very romantic. Love to come again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Scaparone. We travelled with a little child and they supported us very well with any additional needs we had. The breakfast and the dinner were excellent and very well fitted to us vegetarians.
They also had great wines to offer and a very good sommelier who helped us with some good choices. The location is easy to access and close to some bigger cities and many wine houses in the proximity. We will definitely come back.

One of the best breakfast in my live. Everything was fresh and tasty. Location and surrounding like in movie, beautiful rooms, clean and well designed. For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. My husband and I consider this Agriturismo one of the best places we stayed in this region of Italy. Everything was perfect - price, comfort of the rooms as well as the perssonnel. They were helpful and efficient. In addition, the wine tasting experience was excellent. The only inconvenience is that is you need a car to get around....like in the majority of Agriturismo in Italy.
This was a really lovely Agriturismo. Surrounded by vineyards but close to Alba. Great wine and a nice tour. Beautiful property and house and a well appointed breakfast. The family who runs the hotel is very kind and happy to help with any planning, which we made great use of!
Fausto and Carletta were perfect hosts. They provide considered recommendations for local restaurants and site to visit. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a scrumptious continental with local bakery, cheeses and meats. The farmhouse was situated in a central location for touring Alba and the key wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco. Everything was 15-20 minutes in either direction.
