The hostel is cure and very rustic, we played with the dogs outside. You can also buy organic stuff from farmers at the entry of the property. Rooms have good blinds, in case you are sensitive to light.

We enjoyed our short 1 night stay. Ragga is friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed meeting the sheep and dogs. Location is close to black sand beach, not in middle of Vik. Like a farm stay. Would stay again.

Anar, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. The farm house has been wonderfully remodeled. It is very clean. We had a sink in the room which was very convenient. Curtains were very dark, didn’t need eye shades to sleep well in June. Location is very close to Sólheimasandur (DC-9 plane wreck site), Solheimajokull, Dryholaey and 20 minutes from Vik.

We loved our room in Farmhouse Lodge. It looked quite new and fresh, with no signs of excessive use. The bathroom was very comfy, it had everything we needed. The beds were one of the most comfortable ones we've ever slept in. We loved the farm vibe, the common area was just perfect and so cosy, we regretted that we did not have more time to hang out there. We will definitely come back!

Our host Ragga was so amazing, the house is a lovely little farmhouse with multiple guestrooms. The rooms were all clean and the house was very comfortable. The location is a short walk down to the Black Sand beaches and close to town. Ragga also took us to see the lambs and sheep on the farm and they were so cute! Overall it was an incredible stay and I would highly recommend it!

Farmhouse lodge was fantastic. The room was gorgeous with loads of space. The communal lounge and kitchen were also excellent with everything we could need. We also had an incredible view of the northern lights!

We were very happy with our stay at Farmhouse Lodge. Beautiful room, great location, good breakfast. We were traveling with our dog and they provided us with a room closest to the door for the best accessibility and made us feel very welcome, which is not always the case when traveling with pets in Iceland.

This might be the best hostel I've ever stayed at! The home is lovely and is an old farmhouse with lots of history. The place is so clean and in walking distance of everything in Vik. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I appreciated how warm and cosy this farmhouse style guesthouse is when I arrived in the middle of a rain storm! The room was nice with a sink, desk and kettle and the bed was really soft with a reading light. The breakfast room had a beautiful view (when the rain stopped). I purchased Breakfast which included coffee, toast, a selection of jams/ marmalade, fruit, cheese and ham and sweet waffles freshly made by the host
