Cabin in the Woods is the best place to stay in Mukteshwar! My visit was made unforgettable by the lovely settings, outstanding service, and rustic charm. The cabin had good upkeep and was cozy. I strongly advise on a tranquil getaway for you!
Everything about the property, the rustic feel, nature surrounded rooms, you can spot so many wild berries are growing in the property that you can actually just pluck and eat, which I learnt during my stay, like Kafal and Hisaalo, the food was just as what we wanted, homely yet super delicious.
I think people who like to spend time with nature must, must check them out.
Beautiful and functionally designed, spacious and clean with the most beautiful panoramic views of the Himalayas. The property is inspired by Tuscan villas (designed by an Italian architect) and is surrounded with gardens which supports the farm to table experience that is the highlight of the experience.
A very comfortable and homely place, the staff is really really good and readily available. The view is exceptional and you'll be able to enjoy the different weather changes in Mukteshwar very nicely. Even though it's a bit downhill, buses can be boarded just outside on the road which can be boarded to go to mukteshwar temple or haldwani (the other way round). Go for a walk around the village, in the farms nearby and you'll enjoy the beauty of the hills and nature.
We had a wonderful stay!
Excellent Location, on mountain top with 360 view of both the valley and snowy mountains with sunrise and sunset. We tracked alongside mountain trail to see local villages, local farming fields and played cricket on flat ground on top of mountain. Nicely decorated with facility to cook food and friendly caretaker to have meals prepared. Spectacular views early morning and evenings. A place we will visit again.
The stay at the white cottage called Sky cabin was comfortable. Really liked the balcony space. The highlight of the stay was watching the Himalayas with chamomile farms in the foreground here. The pasta was lovely with fresh veggies picked right from the farm within the property. The herbal tea is surely the best hot beverage I've had in a long long time. Owner was enthusiastic to ensure that we have a good time in Kumaon.
Location is one of a kind. Peaceful & secluded. East facing so the sun is out early morning. You can chill at the patio of the hut. There are farms all around so suitable for morning strolls. Food is delicious and homely. Staff is helpful.
The warm feeling of home. The food was exceptional and farm produced. Very clean and location was just as I prefer, quiet. Yoga session was enlightening.

Away from hustle of touristy Mukteshwar, this property is located in a tranquil village of Darima. Rooms are spacious and get direct sunlight during the day. The hosts at the property Preeti and Pratik will leave no stone unturned to make the stay memorable. They cook fresh meals for their guests which beats any cafe or restaurants food. Almost all food is fresh from the farm at the property and completely organic. The bestest of our stay yet!
Shivaya is a peaceful abode to reside if one is visiting Mukhteshwar. It is just a few minutes walk from Chauli ki jali which is apparently the main tourist destination there.The food was great and we were hosted with warmth. The rooms gives you a mudhouse feeling with its rustic decor, giving you a 'pahadi' vibes... Overall it was a wonderful stay.
