The large shady balcony looks out onto farm fields and the mountains beyond. The location is rural, near a small village, but walking distance from the centre of Chikkamagaluru.
Mr. Akbar had been of a great help in whatever we needed. The place is situated in a coffee and pepper barn. The hospitality was excellent. Mr. Akbar guided us with sight seeing and making a quick itinerary.
Breakfast, coffee and dinner were really good and filling. Staff were very polite. Special requests like change of blanket and request for Allout were fulfilled promptly.
It is a dripping rustic place amidst coffee estates. People who love rain and calm would enjoy.
The people at the place are amazing. Ms. Pallavi is a very warm-hearted person. You live an authentic rural life in this homestay.
Just one nitpicking is the location, which is a bit far from the center, but then that is the beauty of the place. Food is home cooked in their home kitchen.
And the dog, Tiu, is the best host I have ever had.
The highlight of the property is definitely staff, they make you feel looked after and cater to all your needs big or small, with great attention. From check in to check out everything was managed so well. They even arranged for our baby’s milk to be warmed during early morning hours.
They have little farm animals that are let free in the garden during the day, kids will love this.
