For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Mary and her husband are truly amazing people. The location of the farm is great and the breakfast amazing.
Mary prepared a special gluten free breakfast.
Highly recommended!
Mary is a delight. She taught us about her dairy farm, which was a treat. Speaking of treat, she served us the best apple pie we’ve ever tasted upon arrival!
The property is located in peaceful rural setting on a working dairy farm. The owner Mary met us with a warm welcome and an offer of a cup of tea and a sweet treat. Our upstairs room was bright, clean, comfortable and had views across the fields to the water. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Will definitely get you through to dinner time . It is a short drive into two towns with eating options.
Mary’s Greenfields Farmhouse was absolutely amazing, we arrived at night & she offered us delicious apple pie & a cup of tea! She took our orders for breakfast which she cooked for us in the morning (which was delicious & very filling)! We both had a fabulous sleep in a very comfortable bed. Nothing was a hassle, both Mary & her husband were kind. Seeing the dairy cows outside the house was so nice as we are dairy farmers at home!
What is not to like about Greenfields Farmhouse. Mary was the perfect host - and I really mean that! She welcomed me in instantly and made me feel right at home. If you're looking for a cosy, homely B&B, definitely book this place. She even offered me some of her delicious homemade apple pie. Breakfast was also fantastic. The location is also great for exploring Co. Kerry.

Mary, the hostess, is delightful and the accommodation is lovely.
Make sure you're very hungry if you have the full Irish breakfast.
It's very good and there's LOTS of it!
I had the best stay at the Greenfields Farmhouse. Mary was the lovely host and on my day of arrival I was even invited to the cow milking 🥛 experience. The room was spotless and the breakfast was fantastic. If you’re looking for a budget stay South East of Limerick, this is the place to go. Of course, here is the farmhouse so you must bring your own car. No public transportation available nearby.
The farm house is a lovely cottage with a few rooms in a splendid location. Great breakfast.
