Lovely rural location. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent, clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds. Fantastic reception staff, super helpful maintenance and other staff. Lovely grounds and a decent pool. A really lovely place to be. Close to Banyuwangi airport which was why I chose it.

There is much to see or do but it not usual holiday place.
I stayed for 8 days and was so well looked after.
Don’t miss the turtles but so many other things to see and do.
If you want nightlife not for you but if want to connect with nature this is the place.
Haddi is doing an amazing job from a fisherman to someone building ecotourism and looking after his home village can’t rate it enough.
Food every day is amazing and he rents a scooter as well you can see and do so much.
Can’t wait to go back.
We had a very good time at Pondok Is Oke, the family was very nice with us, they arranged shuttle and Ijen tour for us. The place was clean and comfortable, in the middle of their farm's fields. Breakfast was good. The place relaxing and quiet. I highly recommend this place for a trip to Ijen.
Ijen Miner Homestay has a beautiful location, in the middle of coffee-pantages and little farms. It makes it a interesting place. At the same time, it makes that you are of the grid and a long way from villages. The owner will help you with transport and food.
The friendliness of the family running this place is the stand out feature. On arrival Nino offered us dinner (for free), all harvested from the family farm and cooked by his mother. He also spent plenty of time with us, explaining about life there, and helped us arrange all our travel.
Rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff are super friendly 😀

The location was out of town so a very relaxed feel in the rice fields and other farms. Absolutely stunning 😍
You can borrow a complementary bike and ride around 🙏
Drinking water is provided where you can fill up your own bottle so less plastic!
Also, there's a pool!!
