For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
It’s a lovely home away from home type property.
Friendly owners. Set on a farm and b and b style.
Really lovely room and comfortable and own bathroom just down hall way. Felt very safe, friendly and not overlooked by owners. Only stayed for one night but was lovely. Breakfast was great too. Full English or (Welsh!) and was delicious.
Chose the location and then sought somewhere to stay, and we were not disappointed. On a working farm but entirely separate, so farming and leisure entirely separate
Not en suite but there were no other b&b customers, so it didn't matter Nice bedroom and comfortable bed, so we slept well. Comfortable lounge with TV.
Penegoes, very close to Machynlleth is a good centre for touring this part of mid-Wales.
Amazing location in such a quiet beautiful valley. Stayed at both properties but mainly used the barn which was lovely and cosy. Lovely garden and the bbq/fire pit was great. Very comfortable bedrooms too.
I' ve stay 2 nights with family on Bwlcheinion sea view glamping. We had the wonderfull time there. If you like relaxing on nature, far from main road and traffic noise you gonna be happy there as my family. The owner is very kind and helpfull. You can buy firewood on the farm. In short distansce you could find river and trekking track around. The pod has everything what you need and is very clean. I would back there for sure. Thank you!
We were a party of nine people aged from four to eighty-eight, and looked forward to spending Christmas together. In the farmhouse and barn we had perfect accommodation, brilliantly equipped, and with a lovely Christmas tree provided. Gesail is in a remote rural location, in beautiful scenery which looked atmospheric in all weather. The sheep were curious and friendly! It was as magical as we had hoped.
Quirky and somewhat eclectic - a lovingly rustic Toad Hall is somewhere I would very happily return too. After entering through the wonderful and large games room, the sleeping accomodation was clean and comfortable and freshly decorated. The kitchen and bathroom I just loved and the old farmhouse chic is right up my street. From the huge ceramic cistern and sink in the loo, to the wooden chair and table on the landing and toy skeleton in the games room...just fab!!!
It surpassed our expectations and was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing break.
We loved the rural location and simplistic comfort of the tiny house. The farm and surrounding countryside were stunning.
The secure garden and outdoor space were perfect for enjoying the house with the dogs too.
The hosts made us feel very welcome with their messages before and during the stay and little gifts left out when we arrived.
Having no signal was perfect to switch off.
