Something a little different from your standard holiday accommodation. The annexe is actually a separated two floor small-house. It has a rustic farmhouse feel, so not luxurious, but has a unique charm. The grounds a very quiet and private. There is a handy fridge, freezer, and other appliances. I went in a car so wanted private, secure parking, and this was perfect for that. The owner Mike was friendly, and helpful in messaging before and during stay, and I met him when I was leaving and we had a friendly chat.

We had a fantastic stay at Pippin Lodge. The building has been freshly renovated to a very high standard, with the downstairs having a lovely farmhouse feel, whilst the upstairs is more in keeping with a boutique hotel, with super comfy beds and a fantastic view. The location is also superb, right on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog with easy access to mid wales/the coast as well. Look forward to returning in the future.

Very cosy and secluded-feeling rustic cottage with a very nice and hospitable host living nearby incase willing to help incase you need anything, she's very nice to chat with and we really enjoyed her dogs' accompaniment. Will definitely consider coming back on our next trip to the Brecon Beacons

The farm’s location was ideal for us – en route from the National Botanic Gardens of Wales east via the Brecon Beacons. It’s a working farm in beautiful countryside. Our twin beds room was ‘no frills’, with very comfortable beds and a good shower room next to it – all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great! Liz was an excellent host – there for us but not overly present.
